The screw gate is ideal in working situations where opening is occasional during the working day, as the gate can be opened by the action of pushing it onto the anchorage point, the gate can then be manually locked once the carabiner holds the weight of the device.
3M™ Protecta® Screw Gate Carabiners enable a semi-permanent connection between different elements of a fall arrest system (e.g. a harness and a lanyard, or a positioning lanyard and a belt).
